My name is Ashima Agarwal and I am the founder and a co-teacher of this program. I have attended 3 different leadership summits under the international motivational speaker, Tony Robbins and am a current staff member of a program called Snowball. Snowball is a leadership retreat that supports being drug and alcohol free and advocates for healthy lifestyles. I am the director for fundraising and activism at Naperville Central for a national, politically based debate organization called JSA. I am a 3 sport athlete and am well versed with community outreach as well. I am CPR certified and have experience with a first aid kit as well. I’m a very passionate, and motivated individual who sees the best in people. I believe that creativity is what cultivates passion, open mindedness and ultimately leadership. These credentials, and life experiences have inspired me to create this program.
My name is Enrique Balcazar and I am the President and CEO of Mac First LLCAs. I will be one of the adult co-teachers for this event. As the owner of four businesses “Leadership” is at the core of
daily progress. It has been my experience that human emotion is at the core of all accomplishment and unwavering persistence. Leadership can unite a group of people to accomplish a common outcome with a well communicated focus and well defined objective. I have completed personal development programs with the Tony Robbins Organization since 2008 and devoted my time since then working the events and expanding my leadership skills and tools to help others and grow my own businesses. I have attended the Tony Robbins, Unleash the Power Within, Date With Destiny and Leadership Academy just to name a few. I have also developed further through meditation going to and attending programs at One World Academy and the Being Limitless Event to learn how to live in a “Beautiful State” which is the cornerstone for being a strong and considerate leader. I currently have been coaching for the last five years through Lucid Enterprises with Founder and Head Coach Calvin Chen and have enrolled to the Coaching Certification course through Coachville. My passion is to grow and contribute to all youth. To bring hope and possibility to young people through new self beliefs and meanings that will bring them closer to their dreams.
My name is Cristian Balcazar and I am one of the co-teachers. I am a very determined person who loves to listen to people and think that everyone deserves attention. I have grown up with back issues, and I haven’t let that stop me from doing anything I set my mind to. I have also grown up in and participated in 5 of the international motivational speaker, Tony Robbins, leadership summits. In addition to that I have attended a leadership academy for 2 years. These events have taught me that leadership is a journey, not a destination.
My name is Yuna Lee and I am a teacher’s assistant on staff. My passion for sports, art, and a connected community have lead me to be involved in soccer and serve as a staff writer and artist for Central Times, Naperville Central’s Newspaper. Through these I have learned just how important it is to not only be a leader, but to be a good one. Leadership is not only leading people in the right direction, but being able to grow together with those around them. I think that everyone has potential to be a leader, whether it is demonstrated through ways big or small. What matters is the manner in which people go about presenting themselves, and what they all take away from each on of their experiences.
My name is Alison Ware and I am one of the teaching assistants. I’m currently a junior at Naperville Central High School and enrolled in multiple honors and ap classes. At Central, I am actively involved in the NCHS Varsity Poms Team, Track and Field, and the charity organization Special Spaces. Special Spaces is an organization where we help children with terminal illnesses design and create their own “dream room”. I am CPR certified and have experience with a first aid kit as well. I also enjoy travelling to new places, meeting new people, and helping people realize their true potential. I am a driven and down to earth individual and I believe that everyone has the potential to encompass the qualities a leader possesses. It’s the matter of growing that potential and applying it to good things.
My name is Micah Hill, and I did the photography for the website. My passions are singing and photography. I am involved in the Naperville Central’s Chess Team, our Men’s Acapella group, the advanced Symphonic Orchestra, and am a member of National Honors Society. The photos on this site are a way I can help people understand the goal each page. I truly believe a picture can be worth a thousand words. Leadership is being respected, looked up to and trusted with the goals and passions of others, creating a movement that literally can change the world.
